How much does a GUBA registration cost?

Registration to GUBA is free.

Why do I get a security warning message when I use the secure login?

After you log in you are sent back to the previous page, which normally is not encrypted. This is ok because at that point you have already logged in securely. If you go to the secure login page from another secure page, like our contact page, then you will not see this message.

Logging In

I’m having problems logging in. How can I troubleshoot this problem?

There could be several reasons why you are unable to login:

- Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure your Caps Lock is not on.

- To check the status of your account, or if you have forgotten your username or password, go to the Lost Password Help page.

My Account

Is what I'm viewing confidential?

Yes. GUBA only keeps overall statistics so that we can monitor which content is the most popular. We NEVER give out information about our users under any circumstances.

How do I change my preferences?

Your preferences are located in the "Sort and Filter" Button at the top of every page.

Why aren't my preferences being saved?

Check to make sure your computer's date settings are correct. If the date settings are not the problem, deleting your cookies may help. Also make sure that your browser is set to allow all cookies from GUBA.

How do I change my password?

Please use the Change Password page in the My Account section.

My email address has changed. How do I notify GUBA?

You can change your email information on your Manage Email Addresses page in the My Account section.

Downloading

I’m having problems downloading and/or playing videos. What should I do?

I'm having problems with slow downloads. What could be causing this?

There are several things that could cause your downloads to become much slower:

- If you are downloading things from other sites at the same time you are downloading stuff from GUBA.

- GUBA at times intentionally slows down user's transfers and/or prevents simultaneous downloads. However, if you are a normal user browsing the site manually according to our terms of service, you should never be slowed down intentionally by our servers.

If you are using a program or script to pull down multiple files at the same time or to spider the site (which is forbidden by our terms of service), then files sent to you will be intentionally slowed down and some requests will be denied.

How to I get a video on my iPod?

To get video from GUBA.com to your iPod, (1) right click on the "iPod" button (2) select "Save Link/Target As," and (3) save it to your desktop. You will then need to import the file into iTunes by (4) first opening iTunes and (5) going to File > Import. (6) Select the video file saved to your desktop. After you have imported it, you will have to synch your iPod with your iTunes. You will then have access to that video on your iPod.

How do I get a video on my PSP?

Please note that the PSP download functionality is not Mac compatible and will work only if you are using a PC. To get video from our site to your hard drive, press the "PSP Download" button for the video you wish to download to your PSP and save this file to your desktop. Visit http://psp.connect.com/tutorial.php to learn how to transfer a video from your desktop to your PSP.

What do I do if I see what I think is a legally questionable video?

Please use our Report Questionable Video Form to notify us of questionable content. In your message please refer to the URL where we can find the offending video. We will review it, remove it, and store a checksum of the video in our database so that it doesn't appear again.
