Inappropriate? It's hard to say. If you think this is funny, you're an ass. It certainly shows why a lot of African-Americans hate white people. I almost cried when I saw it. And to think that this was made by a lot of the same people who made the best cartoons ever. You can certainly recognize the voices of Mel Blanc(Bugs Bunny) and Jack Mercer (Popeye). Fleischer Studios brought up Popeye. As long as this film is looked at as educational for an understanding of the times, I don't think it's inappropriate. But if it's here to poke fun at other races, then it should be pulled off.

I'm black an i love it an for once lets set the strait black people in America don't like to be called "African -Americans" I'm from California not a country in Africa so please call me black! My family is rooted from the north part of America so maybe call me a "Black northern American"!! lol Don't take offense because it's apart of our history! This cartoon just shows how we once thought in this country an that wasn't long ago! Love or hate a person for there actions an not there race,sex,creed,or religion!

I'd never seen this one before but I have no objections to anythnig of this nature. Censorship should not deprive a generation of this, and things like Song of the South, Amos and Andy, and many of the Little Rascals episodes. When I was a child the Little Rascals ran every afternoon on my local station. I don't remember anyone whose favorite wasn't Wild Man froe Borneo, with "Uncle George" who said yum yum eat um up for candy, not people. A few years later all of the aforementioned was off the airwaves and was never seen until video developed years later. I've shown some of this to people slightly younger than I. They laugh histerically every time.

Although it harkens back to a time in our history full of ignorance it is, part of our history and should not be revised lest we forget.

This was pretty funny.If you get offend then you must take yourself way to seriously.This carton must taken into context at the time it was made and not be censored.I can't stand when they change old cartoons because someone might get offended.They have ruined alot of the old tom & jerry cartoons by doing that.

1. the music is really good 2. the visual artistry is incredible 3. It is horribly racist 4. Warner brothers is so ashamed of the cartoon they use all their legal might to suppress it 5. It is probably still under copyright. And this is why all freedom loving people everywhere should pledge their fortunes, their lives and their sacred honour to end these horrors that are modern copyright laws. If 14 years plus 14 years were good enough for Jefferson, Franklin, and Washington. and if 28 years plus 28 were good enough until 1909, understand that America's founding fathers would take up arms over these laws forced down our throats by greedy corporations. To the Warner lawyers who threaten this site to get this pull. Shame on you! How can you claim to respect what America is all about and basically act as a censor. Shame on you and WB!
