duh its obviouse y he gets the credit -_- if "conan" aka jimmy took the credit u know that people would start to notice as "ran" aka rachael did in the beginning of the series and would look into it because he showed up the day jimmy stopped showing up -_- its obviouse and besides...even though his parents know what happened if they posed to be his parents there could be an attempt to track them down and itd be obiouse that they werent conans parents and conan doesnt have a birth certificate :P so he needs no attention whatsoever
